Long Time, New Kit!
I know it’s been a while, but I’m back with a brand new free kit: Softly Falling! A softer twist on traditional fall colors, this kit is great for scrapping bright fall days, or anything, really! It was inspired by a recent fall day I had with my daughter. We took a walk along the river that runs through our town late one afternoon. It was a warm afternoon and the light was golden, making the fall foliage seem to glow in the reflection on the water. A family of ducks floated along and my daughter had the best time chasing them up and down the river bank. It was an idyllic afternoon! You can see the page I scrapped of it below.
Back in June, I had started the kit I had planned for that month, but life happened (in the form of my Navy reservist husband being called back to active duty temporarily, and sent to Rhode Island for a few months—we expect him home next week!) and I had to put the kit on hold to adjust to the new situation. I hope to go back and finish that kit (it’s mermaid-themed!), and a couple others I had planned, so keep an eye out! You never know what free new things might pop up.
